A brief note from the author
Hello, and thank you for taking the time to visit my online portfolio — a brief overview of my 24+ years of professional experience, and hopefully enough context to help you determine whether I might be the right fit for your next brief.
As with any retrospective, choices have been made in the interest of brevity. This site focuses primarily on the most recent chapters of my career, rather than the first eight years I spent managing and directing my own music publishing business — a venture that took me around the world, secured multiple record deals, and involved collaborations with some of the industry’s most recognised names.
Since pivoting to marketing strategy and design in 2006, I’ve worked across a range of agencies and holding groups, offering both specialist and generalist counsel across brand, advertising, CRM, social media, and content — as well as service design, experience design, digital transformation, and product development.
For three years, I served as Head of Strategy & Experience Design at Matter Of Form, an independent agency in Shoreditch, London. There, I helped lead a multidisciplinary team of over 25 people and worked closely with the CEO, COO, and board to transform a commoditised digital production offering into one of the UK’s leading agencies for luxury brand strategy, UX, digital design, and content.
More recently, over the past four years, I’ve been working closely with Nile, a highly sought-after strategic design firm based in Edinburgh. In a variety of senior roles, I’ve led projects spanning UX research, service and product design, digital transformation, proposition design, and product management. Between 2024-2025, I spearheaded the development of a multi-agent generative AI tool for one of the financial industry’s most established mutuals — leading a cross-functional team of architects, researchers, designers, analysts, engineers, and data scientists.
It’s this versatility — the ability to step confidently into harder-to-fill roles and the proven capacity to unify and manage complex, multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and projects — that I believe sets me apart.
Thank you again for your interest in my journey so far. I hope you find the following body of work interesting, informative, and insightful — I certainly enjoyed creating it.
